Apple to replace iPad 4th gen with iPad Air 2

It has come to our knowledge that Apple will replace a user's iPad 4 with an iPad Air 2 if the need arises. The price is $200 from the Apple Store pricing. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo even stated that the A10X chipset will be manufactured by Taiwanese Semiconductor unit and Apple has ordered A9 chipset from Samsung. That is relevant to customers seeking an upgrade because the Apple introduced a new gold color option with the iPad Air 2.

There's no guarantee that an Apple Store or authorized service provider will replace your unserviceable iPad 4 with an iPad Air 2 (your local store might have plenty of iPad 4 replacements in stock) but it probably wouldn't hurt to check, especially if your device is damaged and needs repairing. It is better to check out the present condition of the Apple iPad 4 before it is too late. And going from the iPad 4 to the iPad Air 2 should be considered an upgrade. In addition to the devices newer and more powerful internals overall.

For at least 20 years, Apple has been upgrading the customers' orders or service replacement, if the customers had to wait too long due to a lack of stock, and they didn't get their long-awaited device. It's worth noting that many Apple Stores can't facilitate repairs, so they might provide replacement devices instead.

Apple's family of iPads consists of, from left, the iPad Mini 4; the new iPad; the 9.7-inch iPad Pro and the 12.9-inch one, with the Apple Pencil.

On the other hand, upgrade of the fourth-generation iPad to an iPad Air 2 will vary.

Meanwhile, it has only been weeks that Apple had discontinued the iPad Air 2 and launched in its place a new tablet that is simply known as the iPad.

The base model comes equipped with Wi-Fi connectivity and 32 GB of onboard storage. The refresh is seemingly aimed at users with old iPad models looking for an upgrade that won't break the bank. But that was before Apple sent me a new iPad to check out. First off, minor repairs and touch-ups won't entitle you to get a free Air 2.
