Isaiah Thomas: Isaiah Thomas (personal) is planning to play

All-Star point guard Isaiah Thomas was faced with the gut-wrenching decision of whether or not to play in the Boston Celtics first postseason game on Sunday afternoon, after his 22-year-old sister, Chyna Thomas, was killed in a vehicle accident the night prior.

Boston's second unit started the second quarter 1 for 7 from the field and was outscored 10-0 to surrender the Celtics' first-quarter lead.

The Boston Celtics will play game 2 in Boston on Tuesday night, before heading to Chicago for 2 games.

Thomas attended the team's film session and short walk-through Monday, but did not speak with the media.

Playing a day after his 22-year-old sister, Chyna Thomas, was killed in a auto accident in their home state of Washington, Thomas led the top-seeded Celtics with 33 points. Avery obviously being from Tacoma and knowing Isaiah and his family for a long time.

If you were to take away anything at all from this game, it should be that just because you are a number 1 seed does not mean that the series is an instant lock. "We knew their stuff, just like they knew ours". Last year, he was allowed to miss a game to be at the bedside of Andrew Smith, who played for Stevens at Butler. "I think that one of the things that I've learned, having been through situations in the past is that there's really no right or wrong answer".

Sachin said that although he speaks in Marathi at home, he has watched a lot of Hindi films. Watch the trailer and you'll surely get goosebumps, just like I did.

On April 15, Washington state officials pronounced Chyna J. Thomas dead after locating her vehicle on Interstate 5 in Federal Way, Washington. The squads were tied at 74 entering the fourth, but Bulls star Jimmy Butler took over, and too many Celtics possessions ended with Marcus Smart misfiring on 3-pointers. "That's just not a good look, in my personal opinion".

While Thomas didn't speak to press after the game, he did honor his sister by writing "Chyna", "R.I.P. Lil Sis" and "I love you" on his sneakers.

Prior to Game 1, Thomas was extremely emotional and was crying during the pregame ceremonies.

"Whatever he needs to do, he needs to do, and we'll help him in any way", Stevens said.

"We're never going to make excuses, but this is hard", Horford said. I mean, I don't know how this night is going to turn out, but to be sitting on the sideline a few minutes before the game, crying, that just makes me uncomfortable for him. I also doubt the Bulls are going to get that type of production from Portis and you have to bet Boston will be more focused on controlling the glass than it was in that game one loss.

Stevens added the decisions on his availability are Thomas's alone.
