Breath of the Wild: First DLC Pack Details Revealed

If you've been craving a way to make Breath of the Wild that much more difficult, The Master Trials DLC is also introducing a Hard mode. Called The Master Trials, it will be available this summer, while the second now unnamed DLC pack launches in Holiday 2017. DLC Pack 1 is due out this summer, but if you want more quests and more story, you'll have to wait until DLC Pack 2, set for release some time later.

Fans of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been hoping to get their hands on the game's first ever DLC; and finally, it's coming. In fact, as stoked as Zelda fans are for Hard Mode, the Trial of the Sword might be the highlight of the first pack, giving players a long and challenging new dungeon to fight through with an extremely compelling reward.

Hero's Path Mode: This mode shows a line of exactly where you visited in the last 200 hours of gameplay, displayed on the in-game map, showing your path through the adventure.

Another new item known as a "travel medallion" allows you to select any point on the map as a fast travel point. Using it will allow your current location to be used as a fast travel point, but you can only use it one time.

The latter is essentially a horde mode where Link will face off against increasingly hard waves of enemies.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's first add-on will throw rooms full of baddies at Link, make enemies a lot tougher, and track his footsteps across Hyrule, publisher Nintendo announced today. There are a total of 45 rooms to complete, and if all are completed the Master Sword will receive an upgrade and will always retain its fully powered up status regardless if the player is within Ganon's castle or not. These floating enemies are scattered throughout Hyrule and you can collect awesome treasure when you defeat them.

Buckle up! Uber to launch 'flying cars' by 2020
It's also going to work with aircraft manufacturers who are already developing VTOL vehicles, like Bell Helicopter and Embraer . Anyone else finding this all a bit suspish? So really, it's more than a flying auto ; it's a flying taxi.

Meanwhile, the Korok Mask shakes whenever you're near a Korok location, to give you a better chance to find all 900 (!).

Nintendo has officially released the details on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's first expansion pass DLC. However, players can not buy the two packs separately, as they are only sold via the game's Expansion Pass.

For those who think they've mastered Zelda: Breath of the Wild's challenges, look for the Trial of the Sword.

Travel Medallion: Players can find a new treasure chest with a Travel Medallion.

More information about the second DLC pack will be revealed in the future. "Only one travel point can be registered on the map at a time", Nintendo said. There's also a Korok Mask to help locate Korok seeds and eight new pieces of equipment inspired by characters and earlier games in the franchise.
