The new 'Mario Kart' is the best 'Mario Kart' game ever made

The new 'Mario Kart' is the best 'Mario Kart' game ever made

Back in January Laura helped expose the existence of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle - a Ubisoft developed title that would include the intrepid plumber and the company's arguably annoying Minion progenitors, the Rabbids.

Alongside Mario, Luigi, Yoshi and Peach, the cast will be beefed out by four Rabbids dressed up as the aforementioned characters. The "crossover RPG" is set to be built on Ubisoft's Snowdrop engine and should release in Spring this year. The game will feature turn-based RPG combat, along with the ability to play with a friend in co-op locally.

Released last Friday in the US, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has reached record sales with 459,000 copies sold, which is more than Mario Kart Wii and its 433,900 copies.

It is Nintendo of America that revealed the speed of the sales, when it tweeted that it was a fast selling game, and thanked people for supporting its infamous plumber in his adventures.

Despite being a largely single player game, "Mario Kart DS" is engaging from start to finish. Not hitting with a big Zelda or Mario game didn't make the Wii U a failure, and the system had a number of unbelievable titles.

Patanjali to invest Rs. 5000 cr in setting up new plants
Denying allegations of outsourcing manufacturing, Baba Ramdev said 95 per cent Patanjali products are manufactured in-house. Patanjali's desi (Indian) versus foreign products pitch has seen the company capturing sizeable market share.

Nintendo released the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on April 28.

Speaking of which, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is also up there in the number five position.

The new DLC for Mario Kart 8 is on its way soon, which means some mandatory maintenance will be done. This sounds an very bad lot like previous Mario RPGs, and considering the oddball nature of the Rabbids, the crossover makes more sense than at first glance.

With all the hoopla we make about video games with complex systems and grandiose visuals, it's easy to forget just how much of a hurdle handling a controller and playing a modern game can be for less experienced players.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the sort of game that is an absolute treat to rediscover. After the free-trial period, most games will require a paid online service subscription from Nintendo in order to play online. She knew the game from watching her older sister play it on the Wii U, which her parents recently traded in to buy the Switch.
