Will David Ross' charm help him win Mirror Ball Trophy?

Will David Ross' charm help him win Mirror Ball Trophy?

The end is nigh for "Dancing With the Stars" season 24. The couple scored 33/40.

Normani came into the evening hot to trot after weeks of nearly perfection - and Monday night was more of the same, even with that ungodly twisted ankle that had me whispering comforting words to my own feeble joints. "It's really hard Tuesday and Wednesday, but then you start to get it Thursday and Friday and then camera blocking on Sunday and then it's the highest of highs when you perform it on the show", Ross - who is partnered with Linsday Arnold - tells PEOPLE. At one point, the dancers made a makeshift ladder out of bats and Lindsay climbed up it and then forward flipped off the top rung (with the help of a few dancers)!

"From what I see, Normani is the best, because, you know, she's a dancer, so she's obviously very good", Hough said in an interview.

Jennings and Slater were last up in the first round, performing the Viennese waltz as their Redemption Dance.

David and Lindsay - Viennese Waltz - David realizes he's not the best dancer but at the same time acknowledges that the fans have kept him in the competition.

Honestly, we were slightly underwhelmed by Normani's freestyle to "What The World Needs Now Is Love". That was fantastic!" Len said maybe the most revealing statement: "You're the one with the momentum tomorrow night, well done. Jennings earned flawless points in that round, too.

East finals trip on line as Wizards, Celtics head to Game 7
Look for the excitement from Game 6 to carry over into Game 7 as both teams fight to keep their title hopes alive. Celtics guard, Isiah Thomas, put Boston up 87-82 late when he knocked down a baseline jumper and a three-pointer.

The score: 40/40, a real showstopper! No lavish opening dance routine, no fanfare.

Normani was tough and it hardly seemed to register as she and Val brought the heat to the dancefloor with a scorching quickstep to "Check It Out" by Oh the Larceny. But it was also a revealing examination of who Normani is, and the person we've come to know. The diamond shone just as brightly for the freestyle routine. Will America recognize that? Bruno said it was like watching angels dancing, calling it divine.

The dance: Things were hype for Rashad's dance, as the energetic number blew the roof off the joint. Sure, like any normal human, Rashad wants that sparkly globe for himself, but he also really wants to win it for Emma. Total: 80 out of 80 Rashad and Emma had a touchdown on their redemption Viennese waltz.

Bruno says he's blown away. Carrie Ann praises Rashad's pursuit of perfection. Rashad and Emma got their first ideal score of the season with 40 points. It was steamy and romantic and Rashad was emerging as a true leading man.

Ahead of tonight's performance show for part one of the season 24 Dancing With The Stars finale, frontrunner Normani Kordei is excited to hit the dance floor as she continues to vie for the title. If you had listened to the choice of music with eyes closed, you still would have known exactly which couple was dancing.
