God of War Trailer and Release Date

God of War saw a lengthy trailer for the game showcased at the Sony press event, and with it a release date of Early 2018.

This time we have a trailer which gives us a better idea of how the game plays.

His son gets in on the act too, though.

We'll slap the trailer in here as soon as it appears on PlayStation's YouTube channel.

The PS4 title is also expected to offer a much more personal and tender look at Kratos and the bond he shares with his young son.

PS4-exclusive God of War had a generous reveal at E3 2017.

Set in the aftermath of God of War 3, this is the first time that Sony's flagship action franchise has dipped its toe in Norse mythology. So far, Sony and Santa Monica Studios have kept the narrative obscured, for the most part.

Fans of God of War finally have a release window to look forward to for the next game in the series.

Kratos is back and he still doesn't seem to have found a babysitter.

The game, in development at Sony Santa Monica under the direction of Cory Barlog, looks even better than it did a year ago.

Plus hints that Kratos' son might have some sort of telepathic connection to the beasties. God of War's villain also makes an appearance, taunting Kratos, who is considered to be an outsider of the Norse realm wherein this game takes place.
