Woodlawn Baptist Church, 2500 Westover Drive, will hold a community block party at Woodlawn Baptist Church to kick off VBS: "Passport to Peru" Monday-Thursday with dinner at 5:30 p.m. and VBS from 6 to 8 p.m.

Vacation Bible School, 6:30 to 8 p.m., Promise Land Baptist Church, 5562 Promise Lane Road, Monday through Wednesday, theme: Glowing For Jesus-Let your light sine. There will be Bible stories, crafts, music, games and snacks. The 6:30 p.m. Wednesday message is "Freedom of Conscience, a Baptist Concept".

First Baptist Church of Moore, 301 NE 27, Moore, "Galactic Starveyors", 8:45 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, geared for kindergarten through sixth grade, preregister online. Transportation provided, for more information call: (434) 847-8209. "Super Me!-Possibility", with classes provided for ages 3 thru adults. The theme is "Hero Central: Discover Your Strength in God".

Parents can also stop by the church and fill out a paper registration form anytime Monday through Friday from 9 3 p.m.

Vacation Bible School, 9 noon, Chestnut Hill Baptist Church, 5225 Fort Ave., Monday through Friday, all children are welcome. Classes for all ages. Age 2 through those going into grade 6. ■ An interfaith clergy meeting will be held from noon-1 p.m. June 29 at New Dimensions Community Church, 1700 W. Sixth St. Refreshments will be served.

According to NBC station KFOR in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, early Friday morning Chickasha police were called to the scene of a fatality near the First Missionary Baptist Church in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
